Subject: need inforomation

I am not sure if I have the appropriate place to ask this question, but I have to start somewhere. My ex husband is a Viet Nam vet. We have been divorced many years but we recently made contact with each other and we are developing a frieindship again after all the years. Sadly he is suffering from dementia which is probably related to PSTD. Regardless, he is in the early stages and I want to give something meaningful. Many years ago he explained to me that Viet Nam, although an awful experience for him, was also the most meaningful experience of his life. He was very proud of being airborne and I want to get him a little memento from his unit. Unfortunately, I don't know if he was 82nd or 101st anymore. I just can't remember. Is there a way I can find this out without asking him. Thanks for any help you can provide. God Bless all of you who served in Nam.
