I feel ya on the waistline! But no, diet helpers not allowed. "Absolutely" no, RX or otherwise. Can't even take otc benadryl, cold meds. nada zilch is what my RMA says. Even goes so far as to state that I need to tell any prescribing MD I might see during this time. The only exception to the rule is if some type of major surgery is required. Even after surgery, we are strongly encouraged to get off of narcs asap.
