There is no rationale whatsoever for causing you to lose your job. Did you say you have a good shot at getting yourself off of the list? I can't help but believe that once that's done employment would loosen up for you. I would sure hope so. I'll tell ya, some of these states sanctions are so counterproductive to recovery if that's what's needed, and enough to drive one to addiction if the person isn't already. I'd pester the shit out those people at the board and the oig. If you can't afford a lawyer, look into securing a public defender. I just bet a lawyer could help you a lot. A lawyer would probably love to represent you. One dui should be an open and closed case if nobody was killed or maimed, you didnt beat up a cop etc. Like Alice said, RIDICULOUS!
