Date Posted: Wed, Aug 08 2012, 9:20:15 Is your license on probation? Even if it is, what I did was to call around to every major medical facility I could think of reasonably near to me. I asked to speak with the people in HR, and every time with only one exception, the answer was *yes*, that I was hireable. Even with my criminal record and my probation status. These people even returned my calls each time. It was rare that I was able to reach them "cold call." It takes some foot work, and getting ones foot in the door isn't always easy, but with persistence and stamina jobs can be obtained. How is your skill set? Experience was also on my side. I also tweaked my resume to make me sound better experienced than I was. I was fortunate to have an employer and former peers who gave me good reference. Just want to help. I know zactly what you are feeling. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
