Well after many months of going back and forth with ipn, I finally signed a contract which starts today. If any one remembers I have over 6 years sobriety went through a program in ca, had to move to fl, took 2 months to get results from eval dr seely. They recommended IOP because I have hx of rarely drinking on new years eve and have been slacking on meetings(AA) I went to IOP wasn't bad, met some nice nurses, one that got a dui in nursing school and was given 2 year contract, and kicked out of school, until all resolved.

IPN let me have my addiction md give a letter for support (on what a good patient I was and had neg drug screens) to help shorten my contract. Well after letter submitted I was told my md had former bad mark on his record and I had to find a new medical management md , (due to meds I am on) before signing contract.

The good thing is I got Dr Raymond Johnson to take over care for me, and he is one of IPN's' addiction md. He was very nice, and will support me if I have any false positive etg. (have a long hx of false positive in california program)

I signed a 5 year contract, my rn license has been suspended since 2/12.
The good thing is when I told them I would sign, I have a cruise in 2 weeks from start date. They have already arranged my vacation plans with mary when I went on affinity and I have no check in required while I am on the ship.
I don't care if I get extra testing when I get back. In Ca you have to check in 7 days a week, need permission to go out of your county where you live. A huge deal for vacations.
I do like that everything is recorded in affinity, I used to have to keep phone records in Ca for proof of calling daily.
The only thing I don't like is the labs for affinity only allow testing from 9-3 How are you supposed to go to work?
