Date Posted: Sun, Aug 26 2012, 8:32:36 In reply to: jinxblu 's message, "Piss and moan" on Mon, Aug 13 2012, 13:02:57 I have been in the Diversion program in CA for the past 2 1/2+ years. My drug was pretty much anything I could get my hands on, but mostly ativan/valium and of course dilaudid/morphine. I am what many refer to as a "trash-can addict" lol. Anyway, I was an ED Nurse for 2 years when I got caught, and honestly never thought I would work again as a nurse again. Let alone in the E.D again. Low and behold I am working again the E.D (not the same one) and I couldn't be more blessed. The system works if you put in the work yourself. You really, truly get out of this program what you put into it. I just got approved for transition and will be out of the program with a free and clear license in 12 months! I have been told the CA diversion program is one of the strictest and most difficult programs out there. Lots of hoops to jump through, lots of testing, and very little room for error. I can honestly say though, without this program....I would and probably should be dead. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
