There are storms within the night,
and there are commotions that won't rest
inside the heart, and/or the mind.

Can it be just me, or some outside test,
set to try my soul in matter of heart;
or, is it the on-going memories of you?

The storm is full of thunder with light
that has made you bright in my mind
so as the thoughts of you can never rest,
and keeps putting my emotions to the test.

With you, I can pass this heart's test
which shall put the the commotion to rest.
