PRAYER

I don’t know what the Lord plans for me,
For he is a bright beacon of mystery.

But if I live with kindness and love
As my Heavenly father above,

His wondrous promise of eternal life
I shall inherit after a lifetime of strife.

If I strive to make my brother happy,
The Lord shall see and be merciful to me.

For every heart that goes astray,
I shall pray to the Lord to show him the way.

When I feel lost and lonely inside,
For I know my Lord will never hide.

All I need to do is pray from my heart
And God will hear and healing will start.

If we all open up and talk to God more,
Peace and love, on eagles wings, will soar

From the bottom of our hearts to the depths of our souls.
So kneel in prayer as your lifetime goal.

When you can’t see through your storms of doubt,
Let your rainbow of faith shine throughout.

For the Lord knows your grief and your tears
And your weary, troubled heart of fears.

Remember, God’s son was once a man like you
And through prayer, like Jesus, you shall resurrect too.
