Subject: Little Lost Dragon








LITTLE LOST DRAGON

Once upon an August day,
A little dragon lost his way.
He wandered off into the forest
And forgot his way back to his nest.
Mama and Papa looked and looked
Behind the bushes and by the brook.
Little dragon was nowhere in sight.
Seems they may just lose the fight.
Soon the day would greet the night.
Little dragon cried in fright.
Mama and Papa were nowhere around.
The night was filled with spooky sounds.
An owl perched high yelled, “Gookooko’oo!”
A wolf, at the moon, howled, “Ah-ooooo!”
Now the rain began to fall
And little dragon felt so small.
Suddenly he heard a call.
He spread his wings calling, “Mama, Papa!”
There flew the luckiest, happiest little fella!
Mama and Papa hugged little dragon
As a bright, new day began it’s dawning.
Little lost dragon was lost no more
Once upon a dragon lore.
