A day
A space in time
Seek and find
Do not hide

Like the universe has stopped for breath

Heard that he travelled through here
See!
On the mountains
Where the clouds and thunder meet

Sit on its peak
Watch a valley move
All the stone and dirt tracks
Still streams and water falls
Those twist and turns
Snaking through
Grey rock and green fields

Here! This pass, right here
Watched a badger dig
The log now long gone

Talk of another day
Oh dark invader
Had such a bright shield
I shyed away

Used to be a monastry here
These walls and steps
Open to the seasons
Storm and heat
Dust
Mud and mire

Oh the aquaduct
Ore cast to fire
Smoke a pipe
Cherry tobacco
In the finest briar

Did love really leave?
Question all I believe

Oh Blake
What was said?
What was mean’t?
Oh trees untouched
Gnarled and bent
Was time past here?
The time he spent
In ancient times
Building
Yet another Jerusalem?

Imagine
Those tramping legions
Calling on gods
Who listened?

Oh strange defeats
And bitter victories
The red mountain
Faner Goch
Hills rolling away into the sunset

Arise
Time to wake
Universe
Cannot hide.
