Subject: The Child And The Blind Man

THE CHILD AND THE BLIND MAN

The wind blows hard against the night.
Beautiful mists shine beyond the light.
Darkness invades a child’s sight
As rain captures the soul of a blind man’s fight.

Through the haunting night’s cold hand,
Midnight shadows lurk the land.
Child walks down fear’s lonesome path.
Blind man feels the night’s wicked wrath.

As the ghostly night chills moan,
Beastly creatures snarl and groan.
Child sight meets blind man’s intuition.
Together they help each other within.

Now throughout the black night’s threat,
Child and blind man no longer fret.
Child’s vision help’s blind man’s sight,
Blind man’s intuition leads child through the night.
