Subject: Before everything fades to black again....

Just wanted to let y'all know I'm having computer problems, so that's why I've not been posting/replying lately. The screen on my laptop rarely stays on for more than a moment or two (I've no idea what's wrong with it) and my desktop computer is...well, to be perfectly honest, it's a hunk o' junk that has had more visits to the "doctor" than a hypochondriac. It's currently down for the count and scheduled for another session with my Computer Guru later this week. I wanted to let y'all know what was going on while I had the laptop working for this brief period of time.

Also, Page2 (Steph) managed somehow to hurt her hand pretty badly (compressed muscles and nerves together), so she's also been MIA and looking forward (ha!) to physical therapy so she can type again.

Hopefully my desktop will be back by the weekend and I can get caught up with the board again, and maybe - just maybe! - I can find the warranty stuff for the laptop so I can get it fixed. *Fingers crossed*

Keep up all the good work, and I hope to "see" you soon!

it's a speedy recovery as well. I have 1 month of PT 3 times wkly. My specialist says we need to be aggressive and to expect pains -LOTS! Let's just say I almost had whiplash hearing that. I already have pain -- u mean I must have more! He diagnosed me with early onset RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, which is a chronic neurological syndrome caused by an injury)-- all this due to a fan attacking me. Doc said we caught it early & w/aggressive therapy I "should" (eek-gasp) get "most" of my mobility back in my wrist and forearm. I am learning rapidly how to do things left-handed (yes, I am a righty) - I'm typing mostly left handed and a finger from right hand. Slow going let me tell u. When I get my wrist back I'm switching stories I think my mind-set will be more of the MAINE-ac kind. In the interim I'm outlining use my dictaphone. Can't keep a writer down...right? I shall keep in touch. Here's to a speedy reccovery & use of my hand thats pain free.

Juli...Hope ur computer is up n running soon. :-)
