Is America Doing Their Share On Recycling

I remember the days when my mom and dad use to ask me to take out the trash. Hopefully one day I will have kids and I to will ask my children to take out the trash but however just taking out the trash will not be enough. Instead I will probably be asking them if they sorted the trash because of mandatory recycling. I say this, because I think our world is drowning in garbage. I know that it doesn’t seem this way now but it’s coming with what I call a slow blow.
The main recycling issue that concerns me is how much garbage does the United States throw away every year? Where does the main source of garbage come from and where does it go? I t cant be very hard to take a few seconds out of day to find the blue recycling bins. I feel that if we don’t start taking a responsible roll in recycling today, we all could all be dead tomorrow. When I think of recycling, I feel it is truly time consuming and a huge hassle. But hopefully after doing some research, I can convince myself to start acting upon this very serious issue. I heard from somebody a few months ago that we could recycle certain clothes that are made out of some sort of plastic. Is that true? I also heard that America is the leading cause of pollution in the world.
It truly scares me to think of my family in years to come suffering because we take the responsibilities of recycling seriously. I sure wouldn’t want my grandkids’ kids building their homes on mountains of trash. Hopefully after some good research, I can get a good understanding of the importance of recycling.
