so if they want to put it on and feel its appropriate, that's their choice. If it bothers parents, they can choose not to buy the video, or if they've bought it before they know what's there, they can return it. Or they can just choose to NOT show that portion of the video.

So, no, I don't think its appropriate, but the company has the right to put what they want on there. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
