There are a couple of name brand foundations that are excellent on my skin (have tried numerous foundations over the years and just can't compromise on this one). However that much per month seems very high for the average person. I had a friend who thought nothing of spending 200 dollars at the makeup counter in bloomies. Used to make my eyes pop. However that was her vice in life, mine is oil paints and brushes lol! so who am I to critisize.
