That is control. Managing their own environment and desired outcomes is basically having control over their own environment and outcomes. In my post, I talked about how starting early and allowing the child to develop their own style and having a say in the decisions that affect "their own environment and desired outcomes" is how you prevent this from happening.

So, we agree there.

But, if I failed, and my child, at eleven, isnow prancing around looking like a 16yo slut ... she will be stopped. Either through taking away the motives and means to do this, or by punishment/discipline.
