but is the probation officer on reservation or under our laws? I am not sure if it would make a difference, but I would be calling every single time an infraction was reported to me (especially the urine test switch) and logging it with my lawyer. Better yet...I would have my lawyer call every single time. Also...has anyone looked into a specialty lawyer wrt pulling from the reservation to face the outside courts wrt children? There might be some out there....

My answer to your question is yes, in this circumstance...I would very well let the kids know what their mother is doing is wrong. I would also let them know at every chance I had to inform them that I was working on it and trying to get them back...that I haven't forgotten them or given up and that I love them. Constant re-inforcement from my end...that is for sure.

What a tough situation....I wish your family good luck with this...very heart-wrenching.
