There is a BIG difference between, 'she said, she has a history of' and allowing 'those' types of actions/etc. to rule the decisions the father makes and to just get an attorney (find someone who will take it pro-bono for the sake of a media issue of fighting the tribal rights/hiding/ etc.)... sometimes a circus gets the crowd. Meanwhile the children know daddy is fighting for them.

Sounds like (pardon me for being frank...) he's allowing (though not directly) the ex to win by his refusal to get out the big guns.
