Your first issue: propaganda. It's got me very nervous- almost to the point that I'd rather not know anything. Every time I hear that we lost an aircraft -always due to malfunction, not enemy fire- I am rolling my eyes and thinking, "Yeah- whatever!". I think it's a type of propaganda designed to not have us coalition civilians watching reports and freaking out.


Iraq is using their propaganda machine quite nicely, too.


Your second issue: use of chemical agents by the US, against Iraq. This is something I have missed in the news. Your post is the first I have heard of it. I can tell you that I believe we shouldn't use anything like this. I understand they are non-lethal, but I'd still disagree- on two levels 1) within myself, I think it's wrong and 2) if the Brits are against it, we shouldn't even consider sidestepping their wishes. We are a coallition, and we should act that way. Besides, I can't imagine these chemicals would be all that effective anyway- especially since our motive is to KILL. What are we gonna do? Paralyze them and THEN shoot them? (shaking head)
