Subject: I've never been able to bring myself to watch Dr. Phil (m)

But then, I'm widely known for my escapist TV tactics. I pay $42.18 a month for cable JUST so I can see The Brady Bunch on TV Land.LOL (OK, not really...I watch Family Ties on Nick at Night, too.)

From the sound of things though, I agree with the rest of you. I never could understand where kids this age GET all these clothes unless their parents are buying them for them. Granted, I'm a product of the Jurassic Period, but when I was that age I depended heavily on my parents for my clothing needs...which meant that they had a hand in choosing them. I had a few things that I saved whatever money I had for, but that certainly wasn't enough to get a whole sleazy wardrobe going, no matter how much I babysat.

The parents, IMO, needed to have gotten a grip a long time ago. (Said the Brady Bunch-addicted woman..LOL) The very idea that it could have gotten as far as it has is totally foreign to me.
