After reading DM and half of COD again, I am positive about my earlier remarks on Other Memories. And IDAHO is indeed right about Paul having OM.

Now, the difference between pre-borns and people who later transmute essence, is that they haven't had time to developed a persona before being subjected to the essence. This makes possesion almost a given. There were pre-borns before Alia and the BG called them Abominations because they would always develope a possesion from OM, and gain evil habits. This is why they didn't chose for all RM's to be pre-born. They considered them inferior and in reality, they were.

Paul did have OM because Ghanima asks Leto in CoD why thier mother(jessica) or father(Paul) never became possesed. Leto
replies that it was because their OM was very weak compared to theirs, due to the reasons I have already stated.

Also, ALL people who transmute essence or WoL gain female AND male OM. But, females dare not look to the male side for fear of becoming possesed. In fact, even the female side can cause possestion and only the most adept even use it. Ghani herself almost becomes possesed by Chani during a trance, and Leto has a thought about females and their inherant weakness towards OM, wich was a purpose for the KH in the first place.
