Subject: Before this disappears...what about the Fremen

Hey All/Anybody:

Before the site is taken down, any last gasps of discussion: What about the Fremen in Paul's time? Frank seems to hold them up as the ideal/pure when they are just living in Dune and surviving the Desert. They get the Jhihadi disease when "loosed upon the Universe."

IMO, the Fremen represent the destructive and wild creative sides of humanity all at once. They have many parallels to the Jihadis in our present world. Any thoughts/comments before this site disappears?

When I read the various Dune books, classic & prequels, my favorite parts were about the Fremen world.

AntiPaul

p.s. I hope someone responds to this. In the past, I was disapointed when no one resopnded to my posts; was it because no one cared or because they thought I had nothing important to say? :(
