Not able to bridge time and space? Yes she could! I recall a point in Dune when she sends Paul a mental message in time, telling him that not even he can do that. Is that somehow not bridging time and space? We also know she had prescience. Of course she was able to bridge time and space. It is also safe to infer that she had at LEAST one male ancestor's memories. So what ELSE makes her NOT a KH, besides the absence of a penis?
Sorry to frustrate some of you, but the question of what exactly the KH is has always bothered me. I truly believe that there is no unified theory that explains what Frank created. I suspect he didn't have one.
I'm not saying that I think Alia was what Frank thought of as a KH, but I'm saying its a bit hard to put into a cubbyhole. I think it is fairly open to interpretation, and you've got to wonder what is up with BGs that have male memories NOT being a big deal when its what Mohiam talks about to Paul right in the beginning of the novel. Was she lying to him?
