I thought the one about Mother Mohiam was a bit more vague. Of course I believe that Mother Mohiam IS the mother of Jessica and I think it is a fitting addition to the story.
I also LOVE that she was the one who infected the Baron HArkonnen even though in the original novels it was pretty clear that the Baron was fat because of his own indulgences rather than a disease.
So I think the Prescient machines will be the topic of Dune 7 in some form regardless of it's prevalence in the originals.
