I always pictured you as a really gorgeous woman with a firey spirit since your online name is so pretty...JK

Well there's very very few things I would sacrifice a nut for, and Frank Herbert writing Dune 7 I have to say is not one of them.

But considering that Frank has done most of the work and backstory in his notes and already published Dune novels for the prequels and Dune 7, it doesn't really bother me that it would take two more people to compile the work and edit it down in a year. I do care more about the quality.

I have to say that there were a lot of melodramatic things in the original Dune books, so I am suprised you mention that as detracting from the prequels.

But I don't think the final Dune 7 will be three books. It just seems to me that the climax of all that Frank herbert has been leading up to with Leto's golden PAth and Heretics and Chapterhouse, that when the poo hits the fan, there would be a lot of poo and a really big fan...ie. there would be a lot of action and a lot of stuff going on. I think if the book were like 1500 pages I would be happy. I just want a lot of it.
And in my opinion the quality of the prequels, I think is pretty good. So I don't consider it an inferior style necessarily, but a different one. Of course I'd prefer Frank to finish off the series, but I look at Brian and Kevin as the next best choice rather than what we have to put up with or "settling".

That's just me though.
