What kind of thinking is it to say that large transnational corporations employ slave labor that is facilitated by organizations like the WTO and treaties like NAFTA, whereby people make pitiful wages and suffer under deplorable conditions, and say "I am being a realist," and not act to stop it??
It's one thing to be conscious of slavery, an entirely different matter to be apathetic about it, or in fact, tacitly endorse it by saying that it is a fact that can never be changed.
