Yes, the Atreides were special and bred to see the Golden Path and possibly transform into the worm. I would argue that many middle era Atreides (end of Leto era) could be KH if pushed by spice into it. Only Leto really knew how. Late era Atreides (C:D) were spread to the wind and not under the direct breeding control of the Tyrant. Odrade had some oracular abililty and Teg definately was KH material.

Side Question: If the HM worshipped Holy Dur, was destroying Dune to kill Idaho and Teg really worth it? This seems like a plot speed bumb.
