Subject: omnius or not omnius, that is the question.

i recently posted a few words about the possibility of a cyborg being the new enemy in the D7 book. i was wondering if the trilogy being written now--butlerian jihad, machine crusade, ? , wouldn't have dealt with these pesky machines way back then -in the dune timeline. i realize that these machines may have the ability to evole, but the new trilogy tells us thay people beat them millenia ago. why bring them back to do what ultimately would be a replay of the trilogy now being written? i really hope that it is something completely different and unexpected.
