I don't think they ever really saw where Liet is from. I do know that he was the imperial planetologist, which to me would seem like he was foreign. Chani is obviously Fremen, so unless Liet really was Fremen, only Chanis mother would b. This mean Chani would only be half fremen. (Ya want my guess, i say Liet is Corrino..)

Also if Paul is the KH it wouldn't be because the BG were wrong w/ the bloodlines. Jessica, Pauls mom was a BG and was supposed to have a girl. This girl they would have mated w/ Feyd Rautha (Harkonnen) and produced a KH. However Jessica loved her Duke, and had a son not a girl and actually produced a KH a generation early, on accident. This is what the BG didn't expect.
