I thought the Dune 2000 and Children of Dune 2003 mini-series were really well done for what they were.

Watching them I expected imperfections, I expected changes that the producers felt would portray the stories a little better. I don't agree with all of them but you can't please everyone.

For what they were I enjoyed the series.

If a viewer has never read the books they would enjoy both series without being too lost.

For a person who has read the books, they know the mistakes, but they also know the full story so should technically get more out of it.
