Besides the obvious that she can control the worms... (nor sure why or how she does something to do with being Atreides I think (genetically) and maybe that's her talent.

As for her secret that she didn't want Taraza, Darwi, et al to know... was her plan to escape with a worm. I think when she shared with Taraza, she was basically getting approval.

Note.. Taraza did not share immediately with Sheeana, she had Bellonda from Archives do it and trusted the fact that Bellonda didn't panic or state the dire need to stop her.

I believe this gave her tacit approval.
