That conversation was specifically for those listening, the Honored Matres, and when she was talking about the Ixians she was also giving insight to the HM.

So the question remains then, was she Also talking about the Ixians? or just using them to teach the HM's a lesson about themselves?

One thing I do know for an absolute fact...

With all this conversation and talk I can NOT wait for Dune 7. I want an advance copy, manuscript, or even plot outline !!
