I don't think I'm missing anything and I ABSOLUTELY don't think that the DSO a cover band that is more of a novelty act was meant to "Carry On" what the Grateful Dead created. And I think that is EXACTLY what they and their management or perhaps just their management want you to think. Young sister Bobby and Phil are out there doing it every friggin' day. Every friggin' day. They are going to carry it on until they are gone and just hopefully a new orginal band will come along that posesses what they and Jerry, Mickey, Billy, Pig, Donna, Keith and Brent did that makes it what it is. I can't believe that any of you would use this type of logic. When you go to a Phil show or a Bobby show you get almost the same feeling you did, the vibe is there, the collective consciousness is there, everything is there expect for the most exponential part of course. This was my deepest fear and my reason for my orginal post which I admit was slightly over the top, but I was super pissed at the time and hoped to make people realize that it is not what you think it is. Everyone said the same thing about Phish when they first busted out of Vermont in '87. I was at their first show in Boston at Molly's and we all left with our mouths gaping. But it didn't happen for some reason or another. Whatever, I digress. hough I don't want to add any more energy to this
