Subject: Party Animals looking to dominate again

The Party Animals completed their preseason recruiting drive even better placed than last year to dominate the RFL competition.

"We couldn't believe it when last years leading tackler Brett Kirk and leading possession winner Scott West were free when we took our place at the end of the draft" said coach Grant Butterrrrrssssss. "When you add this quality to the RFL's most potent forward line, it is very hard to see the Animals losing a game this year."

The draft has shown up how inadequate some of the other team's scouting efforts have been. Even teams like the SwanGunners, who have been gifted high draft picks for years on end, cannot seem to drag themselves out of the lower depths of the ladder. Their cheap jibes about the closeness of the Animals hierarchy and the RFL Commission haven't gone unnoticed, and appropriate retribution will be swiftly administered.

The Animals now turn the focus onto their Rd 1 opponents , the VVS Laxatives, but only momentarily, as they are not expected to be any challenge to the might of the Animals machine. The eyes are on the bigger prize, that one day in August when back to back (our favourite position) is on offer.
