Subject: Oh yeah, it's the 70s Quatermass that's on Sci-Fi - shame, cos I'd love to see the originals. I'm going to start writing reviews using your research techniques from now on, Rich, starting with a moan about how they never went into space in Apollo 13. Then I'm gonna complain about the lack of water in Waterworld and how there are never any robotic cops in the RoboCop films. You'll be glad to hear that there's a cracking Buffy article in this month's SFX, about how there's gonna be a UK spin-off series all about Giles! You like that creakiest of creaky bores Sapphire and Steel but slag off Buffy? You need help, you do! I'm gonna watch the rest of Shaft today - I'm buggered if I'm spending a sick day watching decent films!
In reply to: Griff 's message, "KS2 is regarded as an equal to Aliens and Godfather Part II in the film business - a great sequel that outstrips the first masterpiece. Highlights include manic overdirection, cod philosophy and some really shitty dialogue. I liked Goldfinger, it's one of the very few Bonds that's worth watching more than once. I haven't seen any of them between that and The Living Daylights in yonks, but those two are the really the only two good ones for me. I'm phoning in sick today, I feel bleeuurrgghhhh. Thanks for your IMDb message - I'm guessing it was you, you covered your tracks there nearly as well as with your Little Richard post! Have you listened to any of those U2 albums yet? Thanks a million for the CD and mag btw! What a pal! Euurggghhh, my poor tummy." on 05:30:01 06/28/01 Thu
