The thing that really gets me about the septics is their rigorous adherence to invented history. I can't tell you how often I hear 'Yeah, man but we like beat yo' asses in the War of independence and we were just farmers with pitchforks'. Or the ever excruciating, ' I can't respect you guys 'cos we had to bail you out of two world wars', e.t.c. Can someone please explain this phenomenom to me because I fail to understand that so few people accurately know the history of their own country. ( I won't ask for the history of other countries, that would be like getting blood from a stone wouldn't it. What's the capital of Lisbon?).
