Is this DVD of Rentaghost worth ordering? Click here if you think so. I'm tempted to get the video, which is the entire first series for just �10.19. Now, as you're such a youngster and all and probably only remember: A. Monkey when the second Sandy came into it; B. Doctor Who when Peter Davison came into it; C. Have no recollection what Spangles were - you probably only remember Rentaghost as shite kid's show with unfunny pantomime horse and Jock witch. But in the first two or three series it was actually more macabre and featured three blokes - and very good it was, too! Then, three years down the line they killed it with a Christmas special with the two blokes not wanting to do it anymore, thus leaving Timothy Claypole to be the lead, with newly introduced Shite horse, and nemesis McWitch as a mate. Also Audrey Roberts off Coronation St. as unfunny Miss Popoff. But it used to be good, I tell ya!

I watched The Invisible Man last night - what a load of balls. The best bit was a brief clip of the Claude Rains movie right at the start.         Oh yeah, I did watch Rentaghost as a kid, yeah. Some of the series I've watched the last few years that I haven't seen since I was little have still been excellent - Worzel especially, Who (sorry Rich, Worzel's better) - but there's always the danger of tainting memories of great kid shows by seeing them again and realising they're not actually very good, like The Fall Guy (sob!) which was on yesterday.         Well, I can't sit around here chatting all day, I've got Sky to watch. And - choke! - Shitephire shite Shite! Balls! I'll post a review later of a movie I taped last night on one of my numerous movie channels, you five-channeled inferior viewer! I'm going through Sci-Fi's schedules for the next two months on their site, and they're showing three episodes of Two Fisted Tales, a kind of follow-up to Tales from the Crypt, including the one directed by Bob!         It's me again, sorry. Also on Sci-Fi between now and August are: Perversions of Science, a short-lived series exec produced by Bob, his ace episode of Amazing Stories, starring Chris Lloyd, and BTTF! In July they're showing a Twilight Zone double bill every day, which means I can watch more to see what it's like without shelling out for the discs.
