I think CA is the only state that says you can not only swat your child's butt but that a time out in their room can also considered abuse. Yeah, I konw. Being here where they allow public butt swats makes it so much easier to take care of a bad behavior right then. We don't use that ability very often since we have been here MAYBE 3 times in one month. BUT it really has eliminated the need to do a timeout for something she (Lauren) doesn't even remember doing!

Gladys Kravitz...lol I thought I know that name...and about fell off my chair laughing when you reminded us who she was. lol I always wanted to slap her silly face for being so nosey! Our neighbor was like that. ONLY she NEVER saw anything the few times our house got broken into...even though the one time it was broad daylight!
