Neither boy even got dressed today.

I am now ready to clean the floor in the dining room...it took me awhile to get all the toys picked up. It pisses me of SO that these two carry toys around, drop them where-ever, and expect me to pick up after them!

The floor under the table had half a dozen risk men, two socks, a handful of crayons, a stuffed pumpkin, and half a dozen other toys...plus stuff the cats have thrown off the table. I have to say, the cats add A LOT to the mess. Progo and Nemo have gotten really bad about clearing surfaces. Nemo bats tiny legos around, so I find them all over the house!

Anyway, today I asked Liam to do three things:

1. Get his own breakfast
2. Clean up the loose toys that were on the livingroom floor.
3. Dust the entertainment center with a baby wipe.

Guess which he did? NONE! He came back from camp 10x worse than he's ever been! At first I was writing it off as being out of sorts and having been away from home for 2 weeks. But, come on, we've been home a week. He still is doing NOTHING.

I just asked him again to dust and he told me he can't see what needs dusted. UM, maybe the 2" pile of dust around the tv??? The other issue is the kids PS2 games. All of a sudden he can't figure out how to put them away. They are all over the place.

I think I'm going to start collecting them each night and he's going to have to do a chore PER item to earn it back. He's so damned lazy that I would guess he'll go without them.

That's what he did this morning. Sat there and cried because I'm mean to him and won't get his breakfast anymore. He's damned near 11...I don't understand how it is he can't fill a bowl with donuts or cereal himself. Come lunch I told him to get himself a peanutbutter sandwich. He stood here and cried again, telling me he doesn't know how to make one. I made him do it anyway.

Right now I don't like him very much. He doesn't give a shit about anyone except himself. Well, if this continues he may just find himself emancipated come his 18th birthday, and he can figure out how to work and finish high school at the same time. I'm not going to have him treat me like a slave forever!

Well, gotta go fill the steam cleaner and get started!

Beth
