I hope you don't get the "we need 3 weeks notice" crap that I got last January!

I sat in a looong meeting today. All about AR. Have I ever shared how I feel about AR? ROFL! Trust me, it ain't pretty! It is a literary vampire trying to suck the life out of our children. No, wait, that's too mild, lol!!!

You should SEE what they have in store for teachers with it this year. Daily logs, daily conferences, teachers previewing and okaying every test, weekly data gathering, conferencing with other teachers. OMG! I don't know about the kids, but I know I'm sure starting to hate reading.

BTW...that is not a good thing, lol!

We're headed to St. Louis the next two days. The trip, minus gas and food money, is paid for! Everything except the concert and hotel are free...and those are both paid! It's nice to go on a little vacation that won't cost much of anything!

Hope your year starts out for the best. I was so stressed last night that I had a minor panic attack...my first since last spring...and didn't get to sleep until 3! Does that say anything?
