and played pirate with them. His word were "we played like we were kids again." ROFL.

I was a mean mom...I made them clean up the games and gave them a lecture saying it's not okay with me for them to destroy $80 worth of board games. Mind you, I've had all these kids in class before, so they knew I was serious.

The house is still a wreck. Liam didn't get up until 3. Then we went to the mall. I got Teiguen's Halloween costume at Disney...and got him a cute Toy Story fleece outfit. I got Liam a Pirates zip front hoodie. He needed a light coat for fall...this is stylish and will do fine until he can switch to a parka.

I also got him two pairs of pants at Sears. He was so tired that we gave up on jeans. We tried about 5 pairs and STILL didn't find his size. Mens jeans confound me. We kind of decided that now that he wears men's sizes he can't wear loose fitting...they were just waaay too big. The last size we tried was a 31/29. It was still about 3" too big in the waist. We're getting closer, tho.

At least now he has 3 pairs of pants. I was worried that we'd get a cool streak next month and he wouldn't have anything to wear. The good thing about the pants...they were $7 each...marked down from $29!!! Love Sears sales!

They had nothing new in the women's dept. I was bummed. They still have out the same stuff I bought last May! It's on clearance...but you'd think by now they'd have something new out.

Anyway....tomorrow we're going to Lawrence for lunch to give Leslie 3 lawn and leaf bags full of boy's clothing! Man, what I would have done to have someone give me 2 years worth of clothing!!! I know they will use it, so I don't mind not getting anything back on it.

I want to get back early enough to finish cleaning up...there is still a handful of toys around...and candy wrappers. And the floor needs vacuuming badly.

My advice to those of you with younger children...NEVER do a sleepover birthday. I swear. I laid down rules when the kids got here...1. Stay out of the bedroom 2. No taking toys off shelves. Play with the board games in the livingroom 3. Use the trash cans. 4. No yelling or running up and down stairs. Lot of good it did me....
