I FINALLY did it! I went back to the base pool for the first time since I had Lauren. I've been to pools at like hotels but I haven't been to a pool publicly since 2000 (summer) BEFORE Lauren was more than a dream. LOL I've had real issues with my bathing suits not covering enough for me. PLUS I haven't wanted to fork over the $75 for the one I found in the Lane Bryant catalog that does. My mom gave me her old swim top and I put it with bottoms I found at walmart for $15. It's VERY OLD looking but I went and had a good time. Of course I was only in the wading pool the whole time because of Ems but it was fun. Em face planted a few times but she had fun too. Lauren jumped off the diving board (where Chris was underneath to catch her) and she went off the slide. The slide apparently is a pain. If you don't lay down your suit gets stuck and you have to keep pushing yourself along because the water flow isn't good enough and it isn't a steep enough grade to get going too fast becuase of the younger kids. At first when Chris came down first I thought poor Chris even his butt is too big. Then I saw Lauren come down and realized it must be a slide thing. Chris said next time we could trade off if I wanted to go in the big pool with Lauren we could take turns. I said no because it took enough courage to step down into the wading pool and sit for the hour and a half we were there. I'm not ready to lug my butt up the ladder. One of the main reasons I hate public pools is they only have the side ladders...it's rare to find one with stairs anymore.

Yesterday we found a store we are going to try to go to this evening. Home stores. Like home depot or lowes kind of thing we think. We found the gazebo we would LOVE to have for our patio if it were our house we would for sure buy it and build a deck to put it on...but at 500 Eruo (right now it's around .78 cents per Euro) we decided it was sure pretty but not for us...lol

Otherwise a rather boring weekend here. We cooked out yesterday and Lauren played with the neighbor kid that is hit or miss with how he treats her. Yesterday he was nice. LOL I'm sure things will change by the end of the week.
