I felt just like you the first time I drug myself to the public pool!

I'm fortunate though in that the one we frequent has a beach type entrance where you just wade in and out - I don't have to do the ladder. The other one has steps YEAH!!! I would be uncomfortable with the ladder too.

I'm glad you had fun and I hope you go back. I've also found I look just as good or better than most people there. What gets me are the women who probably look great covered, but choose to wear bikini's and - ewwww - kwim?
