I figured that I had nothing to loose and called and made an appointment. I asked the nurse if they would see me this late in the pregnancy and she told me that they would see me up until delivery and I told her that they were in luck because it was my due date. She laughed a lot. I guess they didn't believe me because when I got there they were surprised that it really was my due date.

He pushed and popped and my back and neck actually feel much much better now. Even if it does nothing else, the neck and back pain are gone for now.

My next appointment with the midwife is Thursday. If he isn't here by then I believe that I am going to have to go in for another ultrasound to check the baby and placenta and run a bunch of tests...sigh!

In my wildest ever dreams I would never have thought that I could be in labor on and off for what 15 days straight. I have heard stories but I never thought that it was "real" labor, does that make any sense. I thought it was uncomfortable and stuff but how could "real" labor go on and on like that. Well, now I know first hand.

My only other worry is that this baby is starting to get really big and I mean really, really big. With my biggest baby being over 12 pounds it is worrying me that this little guy may not be so little if he hangs out much longer. I've done it before, my 11 pounder was a surprise to be that big at about 2 weeks early and there was little to no pain meds for that one because I didn't want them! Where do I come up with my crazy ideas?

So, that is it. That is all of the update that I have to offer. If anything happens I'll let you guys know, until then I am just hanging out with my little (or not so little) guy.
