the biggest fights we have are over stuff. He keeps telling me I am a messy pig because my stuff is all over the place and when I point out taht he has just as much stuff and usually more stuff laying around than I have he tells me that it is different. He has/had a pile of papers that he dumped out from his work computer bag all over the floor by his desk when he was looking for something really important. I get that he was in a hurry and it was an emergency at the time but a week later the papers were still on the floor and everytime I asked him to pick them up he complained that I had my own messes to clean up first! UGH

He will also "help" me by cleaning my stuff and moving it to a better place and then I can never find the stuff again. I have stuff in my purse or on my desk that has been in the same place for months or years and then one day he will feel the need to clean and all of my stuff is gone but his junk is still laying around. It drives me crazy. Lately we have decided to ignore the problem because I just don't have the energy for the fight and I have asked him not to touch my stuff no matter how badly he wants to do it and for the most part he has left it alone BUT he still complains about my messes on a pretty regular basis!

I hear ya on this one,
Christine
