We'd planned a party at the park with baseball contests. I'd bought balls to use as prizes - longest hit, most hits, best pitcher, catcher, etc. We'd planned for everyone to win some kind of prize.

Weeeeellllllllll after no rain for so long it was pouring at party time. I'd just bought 5 pizzas from a place so we went and asked if we could eat there and have our party there. They gave us free drinks for the kids. I told the adults I was sorry, but they would have to buy their own. Chris' mom and grandma however poured themselves drinks out of the kids pithcers and then went and refilled the pitcher. I didn't realize it and tried to pay them, but the manager said no. He was very nice.

Then we bought $20 worth of tokens for the kids which worked out to about 8 each. I felt bad because that's not many, but I wasn't planning to buy tokens kwim?

Ryan got a new Bible and cover, a Star Wars computer game, some clothes, 3 Matt Christopher books, 90 baseball cards and an album to organize them, and $42. We got him a digital camera. Wal-mart has a $50 one here that is 4 megapixels. It doesn't do anything special, but he wanted a camera and we felt buying one that uses film would cost us more in the long run. He is so excited. I didn't realize you had to have a memory card to take pictures. It has no external memory. I have several, but didn't have any extras last night. He wants to buy his own LOL. We'll get him a small cheapie today and then if he needs more he can use some of ours.

We've got family in town so I better go. The boys stayed at mom's last nigth and I should get over soon.
