That really throws a wrench into the organization, doesn't it??? I've lived places where, to the best of my knowledge, there was only one way to get the furniture in...mostly due to odd windows and doors. I hated it!

Where I'm at now is kind of like that. Due to where my cable drop is my choice for the couch is either along the wall where it is...along the far wall so you have to walk in front of it to go to the bedrooms (it would be half blocking the hallway), blocking the heater vent, in front of the banister...so there would be nothing behind it and one good shove by the kids would send it down the stairs (the banisters aren't up to code...have I ever mentioned that???) or as a divider so you'd have to walk around it to get into the livingroom.

At one point I used it as a divider. At one point I had it in front of the heater. Sigh. Neither were good choices. If I had a loveseat instead of a couch it would be a better fit and I could do more...but we really need the room of the couch!

I hope you found some good way to get the furniture into your room! I love how on decorating shows their solution is always to buy new furniture. Like that's any help at all to the rest of us!!!
