We went to the base today...they had some things going. We didn't stay for the fireworks because they can't set them off until nearly 10 tonight and we spent a good 6 hours already and didn't want to stay another 4 to watch fireworks...lol The one bad thing about dusk not being until 9pm...lol

Got some local wine to cook with. Ok got one bottle to sip out of...some strawberry. But the white whine really is to cook with...lol It was only $4 a bottle so you know I'm not going to be serving it to guests. While I believe you don't have to spend a LOT of money on wine to drink and yes you can even get some good wine in a box (learned that in Napa) $4 a bottle is usually better for cooking than drinking...lol

Let's see...I put in some really big hints about what I want for my bday next week. We will see what I get...lol Sometimes things go over Chris' head on stuff like this...lol

I'm pooped! My feet hurt for all the walking we did today and I'm a tad bit sunburned. I'm going to shop the cooking stores and then I'm off to eat some ice cream (no gelato man so far tonight) and bed early I think....lol
