for me none of the orals work and I've been on Flonase for some time and it works great! I only use it when the allergies kick up and then when it all settles down I stop using it. Also it doesn't get your nose hooked like the Afren and stuff.

I hate when I'm coughing so much I can't sleep...the only cough meds that work well for me are the ones with codene...yeah, not something you want to take all the time...ugh!
