Then there's an orientation for the kids and parents. I'm guessing we can then go with the kids to set up their dorm rooms...so it looks like it might be 7 or so before we get out of there. It's a little over a 3 hour drive from here...I'm not sure I want to jump back on the road knowing I won't get home until almost 11. Am I old or what??? Before I had kids I wouldn't have worried a bit about driving after dark. Things change. I also went to Mapquest to check out I-50 vs. I-70. According to them, you save under 30 miles by taking 50 AND it would take 2 hours longer to drive! Okey, dokey...guess we'll go for I-70. It will be a loooong day for Teiguen, but we're going to go all the way there...he'll have been in the car almost 11 hours by the time we get there. Well, there will be a break for the end-of-camp awards luncheon, but, still, for a 5 year old that is a long day. I guess I'll buy a couple of new dvds for the trip...and hope the kids sleep! The motel we're staying at in Canon has a laundry...which is good, since Liam will be heading out on vacation with a weeks worth of dirty, stinky clothes, lol!
